Immaculate Conception offers Catholic faith instruction for the children and youth from preschool to 8th grade. Its primary purpose is to assist parents in their role of growing and nurturing an active, conscious and living faith for their children. The program focuses on the progressive development of responsible and value-conscious Christian citizenship. The PSR programs are held from September through April.
An important part of the PSR curriculum is the preparation of children and youth for celebrations of the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation. The calendar of class schedules, sacrament celebrations and registration information for the upcoming school year are announced in August.
In the wake of the pandemic and all of the safety guidelines, we will be trying out a brand
new program: ALIVE - brought to life by the folks at Damascus - home of Catholic Summer
Youth Camp and Retreats.
The Program is designed as a Four Year study of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Each week, participants log in to view a 45 minute, well designed session that includes
opening and closing hymns, skit, talk, lesson, prayer... It has further been designed to
appeal to and work with the entire family!
Parents will be able to assist younger children in understanding while challenging older
children and themselves to go deeper. It can be viewed at any time and can be re-viewed as
needed.
The cost is $10 per week per family and we will be paying the full $100 for the 2020 - 2021
school year. You are welcome to contribute toward your family's participation. Please call
or email Stacy for more information or to sign up!
